Director of Transformative Learning - University of Connecticut Business School | Career Education Faculty | Gen Z Meaningful Work Researcher

Kelly Kennedy, Ed.D. is the Director of Transformative Learning and career education faculty for undergraduate students at the University of Connecticut School of Business, where she has been since 2008.

In her role, Kelly leads transformative learning across four campuses and teaches and coaches hundreds of students each year as they navigate their academic and professional development. Since designing UConn’s career curriculum in 2008, she has helped more than 7,500 students land their first jobs and internships and find meaningful work. She is an eight-time recipient of the University of Connecticut Provost’s Faculty Award for Teaching Excellence, based on student surveys.

Prior to UConn, Kelly served as Vice President of Sales & Development at DBM, Inc. and MCG Partners and worked as an outplacement consultant at Right Management Inc.

Kelly holds an undergraduate degree from Merrimack College, a master’s degree in Organizational Behavior from the University of Hartford, and a doctorate in Leadership and Organizational Change from Baylor University.

Betsy Wills

Betsy Wills is the co-founder of YouScience, an aptitude-based career guidance platform that helps individuals understand their natural talents and connect them to education and career pathways.

Betsy is passionate about helping people see their untapped potential and connecting their talents to meaningful opportunities. Her book with Alex Ellison, Your Hidden Genius (Harvest/HarperCollins), helps readers discover their innate talents, interests, and personality traits to find happiness and career success.

A regular guest lecturer at Vanderbilt University and New York University Stern School of Business, Betsy also serves on the Strategic Advisory Board of the NYU Stern Initiative on Purpose and Flourishing, the Advisory Board of the Peggy Guggenheim Museum in Venice, and the Music City Center Authority in Nashville. She has been a featured speaker for TEDx Women. She also has 20 years of experience in Marketing and Branding across financial services, universities, and education technology ventures.

A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Betsy also holds a Master of Education in Human Resource Development from Peabody College.
